Hey there and thanks for stopping by my part of the website! I’m the guy that loves to wake you up in the morning and get you ready for the day. I’ve been with XM 105 right from the beginning and it’s amazing to think that it’s been about 2 years now since we got things started. Boy what a ride, growing up a farm boy by Mundare and Vegreville…moving to Saskatchewan for a couple of years and then to plant my feet in Whitecourt. Plus eating lots of Ukrainian food along the way! So yes, I am the resident Ukrainian at the station.

Besides having fun on the radio and dancing to polkas, I’m a huge Oilers fan. Even when football season is on I’m waiting patiently until the Oilers start the new season. I think everybody will agree that this year is the year the Oilers will win the Stanley Cup. Maybe its wishful thinking…….just like the gas prices going down. Cal and his wife Teresa are originally from Melfort , Saskatchewan , with Children and Dogs spread all over Western Canada and the United States !!

Cal's Radio Career has lasted over twenty years with stops in Melfort , Estevan and now Whitecourt . He is the resident Flyers , Eagles and Saskatchewan Roughriders Fan , enjoys a good cup of coffee with good friends , and looks forward to meeting XM105 's listeners in Northwest Alberta !!
